Astrophysics[edit source]

I don't know if this will reach you. But I'll try. I've never added information before. I am a student at Univ. of Sussex in astronomy and want to apply to the CCA, center for computational astrophysics, for a summer internship. Their flyer said to go to wikiversity to read about them but the article was deleted. Can you post here the information or resubmit the article? My research interest is exoplanets. Thank you for your consideration.-- Carl Thatcher (I just created my ID as CThatcher and hope I logged in correctly although my name appears at the top of this page in RED.)

Thank you. Oh, I see I'm supposed to type four squiggly lines!

Regarding [1], what was the link for the deleted resource? I can check it to see if it should be restored. Also, you may want to contact User:Mu301. He's the Curator of the Ladd Observatory at Brown University. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 15:28, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
@CThatcher: Welcome! I've restored the deleted page that you were looking for; it is at Center for Computational Astrophysics. There are a couple of broken links in the page which I will try to fix. I would be curious to know how CCA referred you to Wikiversity.
You might be interested in a couple of "stub" pages that I've started and I would welcome collaboration if you find them of interest.
Please feel free to leave {{ping|Mu301}} on any page to ask me a question or leave a message on my User talk:Mu301 page if there is anything Wikiversity or astronomy related that I can help with. We look forward to your contributions. --mikeu talk 16:10, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
FYI: the primary author of this page tried to create a self-promotional "biography" on Wikipedia which was deleted per this discussion: Les_Golden. The CCA author's website looks suspiciously non-scientific. I doubt that this is a legitimate research institution. That is why the page was deleted. --mikeu talk 16:47, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
