Sarah is a lecturer in Prosthetics and Orthotics at La Trobe University. Prior to working at La Trobe she worked clinically in South Australia and at Mahidol University in Thailand. Sarah is currently undertaking PhD studies in Work-related Musculoskeletal disorders in the Prosthetics and Orthotics profession. Sarah is actively involved in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field and is currently the Vice President of the Australian Orthotic and Prosthetic Association.
Sarah received the Dame Joyce Daws Churchill fellowship in 2008, investigating Education in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Sarah also received an Australian Orthotic and Prosthetic Association Professional Development Grant in 2012 to assist with research into Work related musculoskeletal disorders in the Prosthetic and Orthotic Profession.
Sarah has been involved in research in a number of areas of prosthetics and orthotics including, education, clinical, policy development and compliance.
