National Rugby League (NRL) club boards[edit]

Lack of accountability[edit]

Recent NRL examples have illustrated the lack of accountability of club boards. Issues relate to lack of player consultation, sponsorship, conflicts of interest, poor decision making, and player and coaching contracts.

The presentation will provide a snapshot of this situation using examples from Penrith Panthers, Parramatta Eels and Manly Sea Eagles rugby league football clubs.
