WHAT I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I LEARNED

I know that teachers do definitely have an impact on students, especially at the Elementary education levels. I also know that the emotional impact that a teacher has on a student during Elementary school can affect their attitude about learning and school in general for the rest of their life.

I want to know how teachers in the US are progressing to make school more free-formed. I want to know how teachers in other countries, Bulgaria and Germany structure their classrooms. I want to know how different levels of structure and discipline affects the students learning not only that year but if affects their attitudes later in life.

I have learned a great deal from this project. I have learned that teachers can either encourage students to be individual and creative or suppress their creativity with too much structure and discipline. I learned that like in the class that I observed in, many teachers in the USA are making school more of a free-formed structure then when I was in school where as schools in Europe (at least in Germany and Bulgaria) are still very strict and disciplined.
