Userpage of Jim, founder of the Departments of Marine Biology, Marine Chemistry, Marine Physics and the School of Marine Sciences.

Jim lives in south-west England and has a degree in Biological Sciences from Exeter University.

His final year courses were Tropical Marine Biology, Medical and Veterinary Parasitology, Pollination Ecology and Environmental Microbiology. He completed dissertations on the pharmaceutical industry and evolutionary psychology.

In wikiversity he hopes to make contributions to the general philosophy of the project, the school of marine sciences and its constituent departments as well as getting involved in courses in which he may have something to offer, including Marxist theory and economics, the pharmaceutical industry, ecology, history (particularly of the French and English revolutions) and human behavioural science, though time constaints may limit participation in too many other courses.
