My Top 3 Preferences are as follows

1-Bridge: I would like to see this through to completion even if by myself to load test record and analyze results from test results for better design if what we have done thus far does nto hold the expected load or create program to test bridge as all of the software that we have found through out this process have been to test truss bridges and I have not found any yet that would test any type of bridge regardless of its structure (arch, etc) 2-Bridge 3-Water Treatment

Write problem statement[edit]

Project 3 is a continuation of Project 2 (Link to project 501_DAS_2 team page.) The purpose of this portion of the project (Phase III) is to completely assemble the Spaghetti Bridge as it was designed, load test the bridge for its strength and document the process and outcome.

Assign Task1[edit]

During week 0 of the Project, I gave instruction to my group member on how to update the project page. Some things had to be revised. Also I discussed with my group member the importance of our commitment to complete the project. I took a look at alot of the work that has already been done and made a determination for how we can proceed with the project and most importantly, the documentation of our progress. I continued to work on the assembly of the bridge truss and determined what the best method of gluing the pieces of the bridge would be.

Week1 Narrative[edit]

As previously discussed,(refer to Project 2), Some issues that arose a I begin to assempbly the truss of the bridge included determining the best way to asseble the pieces of the bridge. In particularly, the truss of the bridge. By trial and error, I determined that the best method cohesion of the pieces was to first use the glue gun (insert image and video here) and then use the Epoxy glue to create an even stronger bond (insert link from Project 2 here). Using my initial attempt to construct the first part of the truss of the bridge (insert image here) and notes of the some of th issues that I ran into, I begin to construct another truss (insert image here).

I communicated my progress with my group member Syed and I discussed with him how he could be a help with other portions of the project, i.e. the hook and block piece that will be a part of the deck portion of the bridge. I also discussed with the instructor a solution for assembly of other portions of the bridge as some of the pieces (1 meter length spaghetti)seem to be an issue with ordering and being delivered. I decided that it would be best to asseble the spaghetti pieces in a different manner in order to achieve the same affect. This ideas where discussed with the professor and the following suggestions where made(insert drawing here)

Continue constructing truss and cross pieces as necessary and according to design
Document progress and process of the bridge
I assigned task to team member to document process and progress of his assigned task

In week 3, I plan to communicate with my team member since we worked indivually during the Holiday Break for week 2. I will gather the information according to what we agreed upon and update the wikipage with progress notes and images. I will also continue with the assebly of the bridge and tension members of the bridge.
