Nationality, residence, and travel[edit]

Welcome!
Hello, Bellayet. This survey asks whether you are a citizen, a resident, or have visited countries in North America.

To answer, use the following key terms after the "=" for each country that applies:

  • cr - Citizen and resident
  • ncr - Non-citizen resident
  • cnr - Citizen, but not a resident
  • v - Have visited or previously resided in (but not a citizen)

If you want to answer for a country that does not appear on this template, see Template:Wmdgs-nationality, residence, and travel (North America) for instructions (a preload template is available, so minimal template experience is required!), and add the country to the template.

Other questions will be added to this survey as they become available (you can request or announce new additions here).

Accepted responses to the current questions are as follows:

  • Article reliability - In your experience, how reliable are Wikipedia articles? Rate 1-5, with 5 meaning "usually reliable", 1 meaning "usually unreliable", and 3 meaning "reliable about half the time".
  • Article depth - In your experience, how deeply do Wikipedia articles address their subjects? Rate 1-5, with 5 meaning "usually deep enough", 1 meaning "usually not deep enough", and 3 meaning "deep enough about half the time".
  • Strength of notability requirement - In your experience, how well do Wikipedia's notability requirements work? Rate 1-5, with 5 meaning "too strong", 4 meaning "the right strength, but often interpreted too strongly", 3 meaning "about the right strength", 4 meaning "the right strength, but often interpreted too weakly", 1 meaning "not strong enough".
  • Number of policies - In your experience, does Wikipedia have the right number of policies? Rate 1-3, with 3 meaning "too many policies", 2 meaning "the right number of policies", and 1 meaning "not enough policies".
  • Rating of ARBCOM - In your experience, how well does Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee work? Rate 1-5, with 5 meaning "fully support", 4 meaning "support, but improvements are needed", 3 meaning "neutral on ARBCOM", 4 meaning "do not support, but would support if improved", 1 meaning "strongly oppose ARBCOM in any form".

Computers[edit]

Welcome!
Hello, Bellayet, and thank you for participating in the Operating System survey.
  • First, please change "Participant (please change to "yes" to enable category)" to read "yes". This will remove the message you are reading now, add this page to the main survey category, and may add a new message about other surveys you can take.
  • For the other questions, just answer "y" or "yes" to any operating system you use regularly.
  • There are currently only 3 options for this survey. See the template page for instructions about adding new options.

Politics[edit]

Welcome!
Hello, Bellayet, and thanks for your interest in the 2008 US presidential elections.

This survey currently contains questions about the primary campaigns.

Other questions will be added to this survey as they become available (you can request or announce new additions here).

Accepted responses to the current questions are as follows:

    • Answer yes or no (y/n).
  • How closely have you been following the campaigns? -- a general question

  • Has your rating of the Democratic/Republican Party candidates changed since the first time you took this survey? -- opinions sometimes change
    • Answer yes or no (y/n)
  • How well does the Wikipedia article on the Iowa caucus/US Electoral College explain that process? -- tell us how well Wikipedia is doing! More questions of this type will be added for relevant articles and other Wikimedia resources as time goes on.
    • 4 = very informative ; 3 = somewhat informative ; 2 = not informative ; 1 = misleading
  • Did the results of the Iowa caucus or the New Hampshire primary affect your potential vote? -- The "pundits" have been very excited about this topic.
