My full name is Brian Salter-Duke, although I was earlier called just Brian Duke, and it is with that name that I publish in scientific journals. I was born in Sheffield, England. I am a retired academic now living in Melbourne, Australia. I am still active in research in the fields of computational chemistry, theoretical chemistry and quantum chemistry. I am an Adjunct Associate Profess in the Monash University Pharmacy Faculty (fornerly the Victorian College of Pharmacy), and an author of the modern valence bond program, VB2000.

I have been an active editor on the English Wikipedia since the end of October, 2005 and an administrator there since August 2007.

I contribute to Wikiversity in the School of Chemistry in Computational Chemistry. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.
