Idea[edit | edit source]

Cash registers store information from the day in memory. After the store closes, cash registers can print a list of all the daily transactions. This produces a stream of paper that can be 100's of feet long. There is no mechanism to roll the printed receipts back up into a nice, tight, roll. This has to be done by hand. The goal is to create a simple mechanism to replace the hand operation.
