Quiz: Number of words and sentences[edit source]

"John F. Kennedy visited New York" - If we define one word as what is between two consecutive whitespaces and one sentence as ending with a punctuation mark, we have only one sentence here, as there is only one punctuation mark. Furthermore there are only "F.", "Kennedy", "visited" and "New" as words (4), since there is no whitespace in the beginning of the sentence nor at the end.
