Add topicis this page only going to cover IUPAC naming or will common and antiquated names also be discussed?
I believe some common names should be noted, those which are used more often than the IUPAC names. for example, (CH3)2CH2OH is always referred to as isopropanol, never 2-methyl-ethanol.
