Resource and research suggestion

[edit source]

Hi, I found your topic on perfectionism and procrastination really interesting. Your distinction between perfectionistic concerns and perfectionistic helps explain why certain aspects of perfectionism may be more strongly linked to procrastination than others. I noticed you have included research examining multidimensional perfectionism and procrastination, which should help support this distinction. One suggestion would be to use your meta-analytic research to clearly compare which aspects of perfectionism have the strongest relationship with procrastination. This could strengthen your section on how perfectionism relates to procrastination and help connect the research directly to your focus questions. Good luck, you have done an amazing job!! Heading casing

[edit source]
Hi U3222012. FYI, the recommended Wikiversity heading style uses sentence casing. For example:

Self-determination theory rather than Self-Determination Theory

Here's an example chapter with correct heading casing: Growth mindset development

Topic development feedback

[edit source]

The topic development has been reviewed according to the marking criteria. Written feedback is provided below, plus see the general feedback page. Also check the page history for changes made whilst reviewing the plan. If you don't understand the feedback or would like further information, get in touch to discuss. Marks are available via UCLearn. Marks are based on the latest version before the due date.

  1. Title and subtitle are correctly worded and use sentence casing
  1. See earlier comment about heading casing
  2. Promising 1-level heading structure – could benefit from further development (e.g., consider using subheadings)
  3. Very good alignment between sub-title, focus questions, and heading structure, but there may be room for improvement
  1. Excellent – Scenario, image, evocative description of the problem/topic, and focus questions
  2. A scenario or case study is presented in a feature box with an image at the start of this section
  3. A promising description of the problem/topic is planned or presented
  4. Reasonably good alignment between focus questions and heading structure, but consider closer alignment
  5. FQ1 is a bit vague; consider making the question more specific
  6. Consider more clearly distinguishing between FQ2 and FQ3 (or perhaps combining)
  1. Promising development
  2. Consider integrating key theories earlier on in the chapter rather than having a stand-alone section
  3. Use correct capitalisation (APA style is a "down" style) – more info
  4. Conclusion is underway
  5. What are the practical, take-home messages? (address the focus questions) (e.g., not many people will access CBT, so what other strategies can be suggested?)
  1. Relevant figure(s) are presented and captioned
  2. Figure caption(s) provide(s) a somewhat clear description that is connected with the main text, but could be improved
  3. Cite each figure at least once in the main text using APA style (e.g., see Figure 1)
  1. Add in-text interwiki links for first mention of key terms to Wikipedia and/or book chapters (see Tutorial 2)
  2. Consider incorporating additional scenarios, examples, or case studies to illustrate key concepts. These could build on the Overview scenario or introduce new real-world situations in the main body of the chapter to demonstrate how the concepts apply in practice.
  3. Promising use of quiz question(s)
  4. Promising use of table(s)
  5. Include acknowledgement (e.g., citation(s)) for sources of information presented in the table
  1. Very good
  2. Well done on identifying relevant systematic reviews and/or meta-analyses
  3. Check and correct APA referencing style:
    1. capitalisation
    2. use dois where available instead of other links
  1. See also
    1. Excellent
  2. External links
    1. Very good
    2. Use bullet-points (see Tutorial 2)
    3. Use sentence casing
    4. Include source in brackets after link
  1. Basic but effective
  2. Description about self provided
  3. Consider linking to your eportfolio page and/or any other professional online profile or resume such as LinkedIn. This is not required, but it can be useful to interlink your professional networks.
  4. A link to the book chapter is provided
  1. Excellent – at least three different types of contributions with direct link(s) to evidence

Suggestions

[edit source]

Hi! I know you're not done with your book chapter yet but I wanted to give some suggestions that may help you bring everything together. Firstly make sure in case study scenarios you're not switching between past and present tense. Secondly, make sure you in text reference after stating a fact. Thirdly, I would love to see more critical analysis of the theories you've mentioned, including implications for future research. Good luck and hope this help :) E3297976 (discuss • contribs) 13:35, 9 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
