## Developing this page[edit]

What is the goal for a section like this in wikiversity? I would like to help as much as I can, can someone direct me to the proper guielines?

- Hi, this is a wiki, so we all decide on the goal - you can help too. If the goal is not clear, you can start by adding a goal section which you think should be the goal. You can ask the contributor (see version history) what was her initial goal, also you can see the Category:Chess for other learning resources in this area. Besides this, just be bold. Good points to know more about WV are the help pages, search or jump in directly at Learning resources. Was this comment helpful for you ? ----Erkan Yilmaz uses the Wikiversity:Chat (try) 19:36, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

## possible ways for the game to unfold vs atoms in the Universe[edit]

I am curious about the claim *It has been proven mathematically that there are more possible ways for a game of chess to unfold than there are atoms in the Universe.* I have read similar claims before and I am curious how do you **mathematically** prove that? I'd like to learn that. Loosmark 22:52, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
