Congratulations on declaring a goal that will, it is a sure thing, engage you in learning, the making of a summary of the video. This can create some copyright issues, so be careful about publishing a verbatim transcript; it's possible but enters a gray area as to what is Fair Use for the purpose of criticism or study. So two things: by all means, make that summary or even transcript, for yourself. Second, you may put it here, claiming fair use (unless the video is appropriately licensed for free use, in which case, no problem as long as you have attributed the original properly). If it's not okay, it can be revised to make it okay.

The real point is to be actively engaged in a learning activity. I have learned a great deal by various activities like this. I am currently working on a powerpoint presentation that has been published on some low energy nuclear reaction research. The slide show was causing a huge stir, there are some remarkable findings, but it was hard to understand. So I'm transcribing it, and in the process, I came to understand the work *in detail*, and, as well, some obvious defects in it, shortcomings, as well as errors in presentation. I now have real questions for the authors. Most people don't bother to do so much work, and that is why most people don't learn. They want Somebody else to do it for them. --Abd (discusscontribs) 14:18, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
