COMMENT ON DELETION OF THIS PAGE
I advanced the proposed deletion date of this page by one year due to small doubts about its deletion. By WV policy on "proposed deletions" (prod), this can be "speedy" deleted if you are certain that it should be deleted.

=> School of Theology > Department of Systematic Christian Theology

Subject classification: this is a religious resource.
Welcome to the Department of Systematic Christian Theology!

Add a description of this department here. If possible, it's probably also good to relate this department to other departments, schools, and/or portals within Wikiversity.

The "Portal" namespace contains pages that are for management and organization of small academic units at Wikiversity such as departments (see: Wikiversity:Topics and information in the box below).

Centres of the department[edit | edit source]

The learning materials and learning projects will be found in the following department centres:

Active participants[edit | edit source]

Active participants in this Learning Group

If you are an active participant in this department, you can list your name here (this can help small departments grow and the participants communicate better; for large departments a list of active participants is not needed). Alternatively, the histories of Wikiversity pages indicate who the active participants are - you can find this by clicking the "history" tab, beside the "edit" tab at the top of the page

About departments
Departments' names start with the "Portal:" prefix, and so reside in the Portal: namespace. Wikiversity departments can be "contained" (linked to) by multiple schools. If two schools link to the same department they should cooperate to develop the department. See: Wikiversity:Naming conventions.

About learning and learning Projects
See: Learning Projects and the Wikiversity learning model.

Learning materials and learning projects are located in the main Wikiversity namespace. Simply make a link to the name of the learning project (learning projects are independent pages in the main namespace) and start writing! We suggest the use of the learning project template.

To do this copy and paste the following into the new page:

{{subst:subst}}Learning project boilerplate{{subst:rightbraces}}

Learning materials and learning projects can be used by multiple departments. Departments can cooperate by sharing (some of) the same learning resources.

Remember, Wikiversity has adopted the "learning by doing" model for education. Lessons should center on learning activities for Wikiversity participants. We learn by doing.

Select a descriptive name for each learning project. Learning projects can be listed in alphanumeric order by code, however code numbers are optional. For other naming conventions, and guidelines on creating specific types of courses, see: Degree plan and Stream plan.

Where are the courses?
Waiting for you to create one. Wikiversity is a developing project, and depends on its contributors (anyone can contribute) for its content. Whether you call it a "course" or a "learning project", you can organize it here. Courses/Learning projects can be organised from a new "Topic" page, or directly in the Main namespace (ie without any prefix). We encourage you to take the initiative and add your materials here!
