Arrows instead of words for expand/collapse[edit source]
I like the change, but can the arrow be made bigger? Locating a pointer over the small arrow is harder than it was for the words, especially for those with RSI-type issues. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 02:33, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know if it makes any difference, besides using arrows instead of words, clicking is no longer limited to that area, you can click anywhere within the title/header/"NavHead" area now. --dark

- Well for starters, I'm responsible for these improvements, the code was marked as unmaintained on Wikipedia, Wikipedia probably doesn't know about improvements made elsewhere, and I'm not an admin there so I can't make the change myself. --darklama 12:51, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to add a set of functions almost identical to the NavBar ones with the exception that they use the visibility property rather than the display property. This has the nice effect of reserving the space used by the hidden object; it's ideal for charts and tables where elements within the cells are hidden. (I have some pages which are sets of flash cards with images and captions, and with the old method, clicking to display a solution, moves the image around relative to the rest of the table, a small but aesthetically unpleasing consequence.)
