This text is wonderful for teens everywhere. Junior is incredibly relatable as a teenage character. Sherman Alexie has not forgotten what it is like to be a teenage boy. Though there is some adult language used, it is not done for shock value, but rather to add to the literature and characterization.

I have found many useful lessons online, but I would like to turn this over to the students. Have you read this book? If so, why is or is it not a book worth reading? --Sashak 20:20, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
