Introduction to thermodynamics
This is the introduction course for thermodynamics, which is located in the topic of thermodynamics.
Thermodynamics is the study of energy, energy transformation and their interactions with matter. The application of thermodynamics enables analysis of a wide range of technologies such as steam engines, refrigerators and turbines. "Thermodynamics" comes from the Greek words "therme" which means heat and "dynamikos" which means force, or power. So, "Thermodynamics" is the study of forces due to heat or heat due to forces. It deals with the conversion of energies through various forms and to various systems, as well as energies' relationships with the properties of a system, process and cycles.
