Without loss of generality, we may assume that s1=A1, s2=A2, and v=A2A1, as this does not change the lines involved. We write B1=tA1. We have A2=A1+v; therefore, we obtain

tA2=tA1+tv=B1+tv.

This point belongs to S2 and also to H. This means that this point is just B2. Hence, B2=tA2, and

B1B2B1=tA1tA2tA1=A1A2A1.
