Introduction[edit | edit source]

This course introduces concepts that will let you use your computer more efficiently. A grasp on these skills provides you with a solid foundation from which to build the rest of your knowledge about the science of computing. If you have completed the prerequisites, you should understand the concept of an operating system, some of the lessons in this course are segregated by operating system, although some lessons may overlap. If you have access to computers with each of these operating systems, it is recommended you the lessons for all of them. Knowing your way around an operating system that is unfamiliar will strengthen your knowledge and computer prowess.

Prerequisites are courses it is suggested you understand before you attempt this course. If you're having a hard time understanding the material in this course, make sure you understand these prerequisites first.
