Summary

Description
English: An animation illustrating the steps involved in embedding open licences in educational resources to created OERs, and some of the associated IPR issues. Includes the following nine steps:
  1. 0:27 Gather your digital resources
  2. 0:54 Determine who created the resources
  3. 1:16 Decide how "open" you want your OER to be (openness vs. degree of control)
  4. 1:43 Seek permission from the creators identified in Step 2
  5. 2:02 If you weren't able to identify or secure consent from all creators identified in Step 2, make some decisions
  6. 2:31 Create metadata for your educational resource
  7. 2:46 Add metadata and license information to your educational resource
  8. 3:34 Track the use of your OER
  9. 3:51 Watch as others use your OER
