| Description |
Nederlands: Op het oefenterrein van het militaire herstellingsoord Aardenburg te Doorn wordt het jaarlijkse sportfeest voor oorlogsinvaliden gehouden. Engelse deelnemers doen aan boogschieten. Een Engels en een Nederlands team, dat zich de Rollende Leeuwen noemt, spelen een wedstrijd rolstoelbasketbal. Na hun overwinning krijgen de Engelsen hun prijzen uit handen van kolonel W. van Lanschot, voorzitter van de Bond van Nederlandse Militaire Oorlogsslachtoffers. Onder de toeschouwers bevinden zich de heer Rietveld, secretaris-generaal van het Ministerie van Oorlog, en de graaf C.Th.E. Van Lynden van Sandenburg, commissaris der koningin in Utrecht. |
