English: A comparative shake table testing of a regular

building model (left) and the same model on Earthquake protective foundation or EPF (right). EPF paved the way to a new line of seismic base isolation called Earthquake protector (see, e.g.,https://www.youtube.com/user/vshustov#p/f/0/kzVvd4Dk6sw).
