Summary
| Description |
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Carpets are woven by using punch cards that control the input of threads to the loom. Nowadays it's possible to do this by using a computer. Photo electric cells read a pattern, which is then passed on to a computer. This then takes care of the input of threads. After a carpet is ready, it is taken off the machine and is checked. This British-Dutch invention is used for the first time in Hilversum.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Tapijten worden geweven mbv gegevens op ponskaarten, die de toevoer van de draden naar het weefgetouw regelen. Tegenwoordig is het mogelijk dit mbv een computer te doen. Foto-elektrische cellen lezen een patroon, waarna dit wordt doorgegeven aan een computer. Deze zorgt vervolgens voor de toevoer van de draden. Nadat een stuk tapijt gereed is, wordt het van de machine genomen en gecontroleerd. Deze Brits-Nederlandse uitvinding wordt voor het eerst in Hilversum gebruikt.
