Building services engineering/Nonresidential cooling and heating load calculations

From Wikiversity

The major components of commercial building cooling and heating load is derived from a combination of external and internal sources. These include:

  • Fenestration: The heat load associated with power input from windows, curtain walls and other kinds of glazing systems.
  • Wall heat loads: The heat load associated with walls, wall assemblies and other typically vertical constructions.
  • Roof heat loads: The heat load associated with roofs.
