The following table provides a scale called the Wikiversium Yardstick, which is used to measure the quality of educational content as provided by a school at Wikiversity. This yardstick should help to answer the question: is this a real school, or just a repository for encyclopedic material?

Step 1: The initial score for this yardstick is zero.
Step 2: Is there any lesson with a structured period of time such that the student would know how much time to prepare for the lesson before taking it? If yes, add 1 to the score.
Step 3: [Lesson 1] Is there any lesson with a sequence of steps for students to follow? If yes, add 1 to the score. The next two steps are similar as this one.
Step 4: [Lesson 2] Add an additional 1 to the score for another lesson in the same school that also have a sequence of steps for students to follow.
Step 5: [Lesson 3] Repeat the last step if there are more than two lessons with steps for students.
Step 6: [Course 1] Is there any course or academic unit with a list of required lessons? If yes, add 1 to the score. The next two steps are similar as this one.
Step 7: [Course 2] Add an additional 1 to the score for another course/unit in the same school that also have a list of required lessons.
Step 8: [Course 3] Repeat the last step if there are more than two courses/units with a list of required lessons.
Step 9: [Major with 1 Academic Unit] Is there an academic major or course of study prescribing a set of required courses or academic units? If yes add 1 to the scores. The next two steps are similar as this one.
Step 10: [Major with 2 Academic Units] Add an additional 1 to the score if there are more than one course/unit in the same course of study or academic major.
Step 11: [Major with 3 Academic Units] Add an additional 1 to the score if there are more than two courses/units in the same course of study or academic major.
Step 12: Is there any formal or informal academic recognition for a student who successfully completes the courses prescribed in an academic major or course of study? If yes add 1 to the score.
Step 13: Can the student click at the same spot on the physical screen to navigate through a sequence of lessons or courses? If yes add 1 to the score.
Step 14: From the school entrance, can a student navigate through the wiki pages as provided by the school and figure out how to answer all the questions posed on this page? If yes, add 1 to the score.
Step 15: Did the school builder avoid advertising, explaining and listing at the main entrance of the school? If yes, add 1 to the score.
Step 16: If the score is 14 out of 14, the school in question is definitely not a bad school as it meets the Wikiversium Quality Standards.
