- "Wikiversity:Think tank" sounds like a page for reflections and visions on wikiversity. Usually a project: page is about the project itself. WikiProject in wikipedia lies in the wikipedia:wikiproject psedo-namespace simply because they have no other choice - but we do. The title "wikivesity:think tank" is very much as confusing. But of course it is all up to the participants in this topic. (However, I picture someone like Cormaggio or Thuvack thinking: "Why did't I take the name first.." :-)). - I am interested in being involved and would like to have a better idea on how a think tank works, do we all think about the proposed topic, write something and come to a consensus? at any rate all these administrative details need defined before anything comes of this project. - Well, we could do it that way. I am also unclear on what kind of process SB_Johnny has in mind for creating these new projects. So, I was just bold and started Earth-impact events quickly. If there are events in the news it might just be better to start a stub, and then refine the administrative details and learning project structure as we go along. [edit] integration of help desk and content creation
Every time someone has a question and is motivated enough to post it on the help desk, it would be a good chance to create a learning resource around the question, even if it is only answered partially. Sometimes we would have some simple practical problems in our work; we may ask people or we may solve them by ourselves (maybe with google); and it is a waste not to share it.

- I completely agree. I think the new "forums" being developed are probably an improvement over the help desk for this, since the individual topics will have distinct subpages... perhaps the help desk threads could be organized in a similar manner as well. --SB_Johnny talk 16:13, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Interactive learning
I'm not sure if this is the correct location to ask and suggest or to go to the Help desk page. My question is about an interactive learning in this wikivirsity through supporting additional media such as animated flash pages, and scripting features as in JScript. The reason I suggest this is to facilitate the learner with all possible ways to browse and interact with some self pre-programmed study. an example of this is identifying locations and related points on an image or a map.--Email4mobile 16:36, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
