[edit] Proposed merge

While this page served a very usefull purposed in the initial days, Wikiversity:Introduction has risen as a very nice replacement to this page. I propose this page's information be merged into the Introduction (and most of it already has) and then this page redirect there. I've created a couple of diagrams to explain my thought process here:

Vs.

Among other things, I'm trying to study how Wikiversity teaches new users. From the main page a new user will get the most from Wikiversity if they follow the green path, but more experienced users have the option of following the pink or orange path. Removing the blue path but still providing all the relavent links would streamline things a bit. - Trevor MacInnis 15:27, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Shall I take the lack of replies as meaning nobody opposes (or even cares about/watches this page)? I'll start the merge as soon as I'm sure all the applicable info on this page is addressed at the Intro - Trevor MacInnis 00:43, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Maybe there could really be a guided tour like this one. --JWSchmidt 04:28, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
That's an great idea! I'll start right away! - Trevor MacInnis 17:45, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Ok, it's started, but I'm not sure how many/which pages should be toured. Suggestions? - Trevor MacInnis 19:31, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
