I'm not sure I appreciate the tone of this page. The Jade Knight 10:05, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Could you be more specific? What parts would you like to change - and why? Thanks. Cormaggio talk 12:37, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

"Some courses use various downloadable programs or mailiable discs. This isn't a good idea because it often obstructs who can join, especially if it requires completing something and getting a passing grade first." (The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ipatrol (talkcontribs) .)

I don't appreciate the tone either. While I understand the sentiment, Wikiversity being an "unaccredited" institution, it's a perfectly fine forum for course creation. No one is seriously going to look at Wikiversity and mistake a wiki-course for a true, accredited course. The page seems highly condescending and would probably intimidate new users. Courses are also easier to organize and find than independent learning resources - I think they're a perfectly fine format for Wikiversity. --Trinity507 02:25, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, what he said. The Jade Knight (d'viser) 16:54, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
