[edit] Two Defining Content Submittal Screens
Wikiversity content is explicitly licensed and defined by the two submittal screens used by participants to load material to the Wikiversity servers at the time the materials are loaded. Any materials loaded fraudulently or erroniously are immediately removed upon detection or notification of specific problems.
1. All wiki markup text submittals are licensed under GFDL. This is clearly stated by the line above the summary box on the submittal form: "Content that violates any copyright will be deleted. You agree to license your contributions under the GFDL." This may be verified at the Wikiversity:Sandbox&action=edit or any other time in the wiki page editor. To return here after visual verification use the cancel button and your browser back screen function.
2. All uploaded media files other than wiki text are licensed as chosen by the uploader when they are uploaded. The upload file function [1] is a menu item at the bottom left menu when your browser is on the Wikiversity site as it is now. The license information selected or provided is attached to the media file and provided back to information users by Wikimedia Foundation servers when users click on the served media files on the site. These files may be hosted by another Wikimedia Foundation project such as the Commons sister project accessible at the bottom of the main page. http:www.en.wikiversity.org
Media files under Free Content Licenses, also known as copyleft, may be "aggregated" within the GFDL text on the Wikiversity site.
