Here is where to discuss permanently or temporarily banning or unbanning someone from the Wikiversity IRC chat channel.

I was banned from #wikiversity-en by User:SB Johnny without any warning, discussion or reason given. I still do not understand why I was banned or why the ban is allowed to stand. I hope that some day Wikiversity will return to the practice of allowing free discussion in #wikiversity-en. --JWSchmidt 17:02, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

If there was no reason given, there will be no reason given in here either. Just his "GFY" reply, I guess, which, obviously, will not be "censored". --Davichito 20:00, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

This block should be reversed. There is no transparent reason given. It looks like censorship.
The crat that did this should not be a crat. Custodian maybe, but not crat. This is horrible. At least we should change the welcome templates to direct people to channels where long time users are not blocked for reasons that users can understand in other ways than just hearsay.
