A really interesting choice of topic. Keep working on this outline, it promises a great essay. Try to use your outline to explain how you will explore this issue in the essay. You do really well at presenting two positions. Perhaps an example would be useful, such as a quote from someone representing each side. Your essay could then focus on looking at several real examples of sport dividing and uniting social groups. You could look at the tension between ethnic groups in Australian soccer, you could look at the supposed therapeutic aspects of sport for refugees, you could even include the examples of the attention given to the poor behavior of young celebrity players. Either way, you have a very political topic, you need to talk about it from a local to international scale (I'd suggest examples for each), and you need to talk about where business comes into it all Leighblackall 10:37, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
