Hi Rob, and well, I can't do a much more spectacular welcome sign than what you've already got ;-), but I'll just add that I'm also in the University of Manchester (currently working on dissertation). - My dissertation is about Wikiversity actually and the process by which it was set up :-). My general field is education, and the role of media and technology - and I'm planning to explore these areas and more over the course of my upcoming PhD :-).
