An interesting selection of topic PBergman. I look forward to seeing it expand. Careful that you cover the local to international scale and implications for these sports hey. Also, you appear to be taking a position here, that you think boxing is withering, and MMA is rising. Its fine to do that, but by making your position obvious, you'll have to work extra hard at supporting factual claims with references, as anyone out there who might disagree with you, will be reading your essay with an extra eye out for any weaknesses in that regard. An alternative is to not give away what your position might be, and to simply describe what you see without using loaded and colourful words. But that would be compromising on your writing style, which uses a nice array of puns and one liners, so stick with the position. Just be careful to support everything with good references, and make sure you cover local to international issues and/or examples. Leighblackall 04:15, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

I like the choice of topic. The governance of combat sports has been an issue in many cultures. I am keen to discuss this if you have time. Postillion 23:15, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Closing comments Very inisightful. Ot is obvious that the topic has been researched thoroughly as the artcile covers all bases. The simplicity of the structure makes it easy to understand. Would have liked to know what you think about the topic and where it's headed. But still it was a respectable effort. Rmckay
