Currently, this bot is run once per day and checks for new user accounts that have edited and do not have edits to their User_talk: page. The bot will not welcome someone unless the account was created more than about 3 days ago to give time for a human to welcome the user. The primary purpose of this welcome bot is to catch new users who humans didn't notice.

The bot adds: {{Welcome}} and {{Talktome}} followed by a randomly choosen signature from Wikiversity:Welcome log/Sign.

The bot then creates a list of welcomed users at a page named: Wikiversity:Welcome log/YYYY/MM/DD.

• User:Mu301Bot will run welcome.py which randomly loads a signature from the list at User:Mu301Bot/Sign
• Feel free to add your signature to the page, this way:

*<white space>SIGN
<new line>

Example:

Note: The white space and <pre> </pre> aren't required but I suggest you to use them.
