User talk:Javier Carro
From Wikiversity
Hi Javier - good to see you again :-). We've finally got this going here, but I hope we can build on the work done on Wikibooks to craft it into this new direction for the project. Your contributions will be very valued. Cormaggio 09:37, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

- Sure, recordings sound great! ¿Eres un hablante nativo? - J.Steinbock 23:37, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- That's a great idea! As for me, I am from the United States, but am fluent in Spanish, English, and French. -- J.Steinbock 23:45, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikiversity Reports
"My link to Wikiversity reports doesn't work anymore. Did you close the website?" <-- Please see Wikiversity Reports. I had been using a 60 day trial .Mac account that is no longer active. All of the podcasts are now online at Internet Archive and can be reached from ourmedia. If you know of any existing links to the old website, please let me know where they are so I can update them. --JWSchmidt 01:53, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Computational linguistics
I've expanded Topic:Computational linguistics a bit, tying it to Topic:Translation and Topic:Multilingual Studies. Please have a look when you get the time. CQ 06:14, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Quiz project
Thank you for joining the quiz project. Most of the discussion is over at MediaWiki.org at the moment - there's a (new?) link to the discussion on the quiz project page. Feel welcome to join us. McCormack 06:19, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message over on my talk page. Yes, it's true the discussion so far has been rather technical, as some of us are helping Lrbabe steer the development of the extension. However the quiz extension is now developed so well that I think we can also start talking about educational issues and start creating examples. Particularly now that we have the typed response and gapfills, areas such as linguistics and languages are well-served by the quiz extension. McCormack 12:31, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Language learning project
You peeked into IRC about some kind of language project with WCR or VoIP; I'm pinging you here. Let me know what you are thinking. I put this out there for the French project, but we've had no takers yet. Historybuff 22:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
