Image uploads [edit]

Please make sure to include a licence template when uploading images. Images without licence information must be deleted! --SB_Johnny | talk 15:27, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Further to this, I'm trying to track down images with no licence template. Would you be willing to clarify the licence on the uploads that you did? Historybuff 03:14, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi Bulldogs [edit]

I've made a few changes to some pages... a couple quick hints:

1. if you want to make an image gallery, use this form:

<gallery>
Image:Imagename|Image description
Image:Imagename2|Image description
etc.
</gallery>

2. to link to wikipedia use a "w:" before the article's name, so you won't have the funny arrow. For example: [[w:Mosaic|mosaics]] makes mosaics.

Let us know if you have other questions :). --SB_Johnny | talk 00:21, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

How to make references to Wikipedia [edit]

Rather than say:

  • The Egyptians [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptians] were the main ones to use sunken relief sculptures

which looks like this:

The Egyptians [1] were the main ones to use sunken relief sculptures

you can say:

  • [[w:Egyptians|The Egyptians]] were the main ones to use sunken relief sculptures

Which looks like this:

The Egyptians were the main ones to use sunken relief sculptures

Let me know if you need assistance Robert Elliott 06:27, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Hello! [edit]

Thanks for your link in my discussion page! Our French class in Germany seems to do the same as you do. Unfortunately our page is in German wikiversity and therefore in German. Do you learn German at school? --Soma89 13:45, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
