History of Philosophy
I think some order in the Philosophy departmet would be great. My one concern is that with the disorganization if we move our link it will make it difficult for people to find our section. If you would like to move the link that is ok. The front page for the philosophy department really needs to clean up and (I think) made into a table of contents through which one can access all the different links that are present. For the layperson, with EVERYTHING on the front page like it is makes it overwhelming. User:MaryCordova
In re-reading my previous statement I realize it sounds a little abrasive and derogatory. My apologies. Let me know if you need any help in cleaning things up a bit. Feel free to move us wherever you like. As much as I would like us to be the first thing one sees Im not sure it matters. Sad as it is I dont see many people searching for independent courses on philosophy. I actually have a psych professor this semester who is constantly bashing philosophy. It seems the view that philosophy is useless has permeated even academia. Hope is alive however, else we'd not be creating the course! MaryCordova 07:16, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Dear user of Wikiversity,
Do you like to join a reading club, where you can read and discuss literature? Reading clubs could have active and inactive participants. Active participants could be required to edit on a regularly basis untill a deadline is reached and another topic can be chosen for reading and discussing. Hopefully, reading clubs can ensure a social network on Wikiversity of people cooperating with eachother and becoming friends while discussing knowledge.--Daanschr 09:41, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
