Lecture will introduce some basic electric components (resistors, buttons, diodes, etc) and basic electrical concepts such as Ohm's Law. We will discuss resistors and resistor color codes.

In lab, students will be introduced to the laboratory equipment. We will reiterate safety protocols, and teach students how to use a digital multimeter (DMM) and a power supply. We will construct basic circuits to teach concepts such as parallel and serial resistor configurations.

This section will only cover basic electrical components, such as resistors and diodes.
