A warm welcome to Clay Weidinger's user page. I've just discovered the wiki platform in a whole new light after doing lots of research about how to best facilitate learning, especially among our youth, so I'll just be exploring for a bit. I'm interested in talking about the future of education and how to get there from here. In any case, if you want to contact me, you can talk me or email me.
If you haven't take a gander yet, check out TED.com.
[edit] About me
I hold Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Nursing. I work as a Surgical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (SICU RN). I am intensely interested in
- Happiness,
- Science,
- Politics,
- Economics, and
- Education.
I think and act according to 3 principles I've distilled down:
- Enjoying life (Valuing Happiness),
- Predicting Reality (using science and reason), and
- Participating in Power (using community to augment my understanding of reality and experience of happiness).
I plan to participate in fixing every problem (ecological destruction, social injustice, communist education, death, doublethink, hegemony, boredom, ignorance, ...). I am an unfailing optimist of the realist variety.

[edit] Education
I'm still learning about this but I'm pretty sure it is the fastest way to realize all my projects. I'm gunning for a solution set that works politically and economically on a global scale. Talk this up with me..
