I am a graduate from the University of Winnipeg, with a major in Philosophy (my focus was split between ethics and existentialism), and a minor in biochemistry. I am currently vegan for animal rights; a decision that was reached at a fairly young age (7 years) and has grown in complexity and degree ever since, morphing into almost a pantheistic view of all life and nature. I have a deep interest, additionally, in theology; how we treat animals, and fellow man because of religious convictions (or lack thereof), and how the history of human ethical concerns and questioning has been shaped by notable historical events, and notable philosophers or thinkers. (Of history, my primary interest as of late is Ancient Greece, especially the Classical period of Ancient Greece, and Ancient Roman civilization).
