This is a wiki page for Piotr Konieczny's recitations (Friday 0800 to 1100) of Sociology of the Family (SOC0438), Fall 2006, University of Pittsburgh.

We all take notes. Some do it better, some worse, but there is no such thing as perfect notes. However working together we can combine our notes and create an easy-to-understand, online and hyperlinked study notes. The best places to add your notes would be relevant Wikipedia and Wikibooks articles on 'Sociology of the Family' - see the #Links of interests section below. Substantial contribution to those section will also be recognized with activity points.

We learn by asking questions. If you have any questions about this course, answers to which may be useful to others, ask them here - this way we can create our own 'Frequently Asked Questions' database about this course.
