Hello there, visitors!

Some of you may know me from Wikipedia or Wikinews — that is where I have spent most of my wiki-time. However, I intend to spend more time here, since Wikiversity needs me. I joined Wikiversity on the very day it started: August 15, 2006, and the next day I became a custodian! That's what's great about having experience and showing up on the first day. I helped initiate some processes like WV:RFD and the speedy deletion process, as well as some schools. Unfortunately, I wasn't bright enough to see that the scheming in the nomenclature was ridiculous, so now I'm making up for it by proposing how we can get the system right. However, as this project is settling in, it doesn't look like I will be very active.

As I have stated on IRC, education is the second most important thing to any individual (first place goes to nourishment and shelter). Educated people live better lives, commit less crime, and generally are better people. A free website based around collaboration is exactly what the world needs, and I want to be around to see it happen!
