Keane is a sports scientist working at the University of Canberra, National Institute of Sport Studies (UCNISS). Keane specialises in biomechanics, performance analysis and strength and conditioning. Keane's research interests are in the biomechanics of rugby union; playing structures in team sports; variations of running technique in sport; and appropriate training methods in sport. Keane is a level 2 accredited rugby union, cricket as well as strength and conditioning coach.
