Hey,
My name is Katharina Band, I am 21 years old and I come from Franconia, Germany. I live in Eichstaett and study there in order to become a primary school teacher, as well as a school psychologist.
In my spare time I love going out with my friends, shopping and reading books.

- the term "specialization" is used with different meanings in the USA and Germany
- USA: specialization = concentration and means taking extra classes during the teacher education at university in order to become a little expert in one certain subject.
- in the USA there are no didactic subjects like in Germany. So they have to research the areas, they are not specialized in, on their own through the internet/books etc.,or by attending special workshops
