This page contains some of my experiments with MediaWiki on Wikiversity - it includes stuff I've copied from other pages - i.e., to be played with.

Some more experiments are in subpages:

[edit] Quiz

An interesting use of a simple quiz, from Mange01 here:

1. Wikipedia policies and guidelines are often referred to by shortcuts and shortnames. What does these rules mean? (Check one per row, and one per column.)

NPOV NOR CON IAR 3RR CIV BLP VERIFY WEASEL
Wikipedia is not the place to publish new ideas or new scientific results.
The article should not be biased, but should refer all significant perspectives of the main scholars and specialists in the area.
Material challenged or likely to be challenged, and all quotations, must be sourced. Otherwise it may be removed, even if you know it is the truth.
You do not need to read any rules before contributing to Wikipedia. If a policy prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore it.
Do not revert a single page more than three times within a 24-hour period, except in some exceptions.
The wiki process is the decision mechanism. When everyone agrees or are silent, a suggestion or an edit is considered as accepted. Seek compromises.
Non-neutral or uncited contentious statements about now living persons can be deleted immediately without discussion.
Even during heated debates, be reasonable and calm.
Avoid writing "some people say" without providing sources.

Your score is 0 / 0

[edit] Template troubleshooting

The two sections below demonstrate how the Template:wikipedia used to work and how it currently works. Note that in the current version, the links are pushed down; evident in FF2 and IE7 for me.
