[edit] Introduction
This is not a lesson. This article contains the plan of the lessons for teaching Klingon. Once these lessons are complete, this plan will be deleted.
[edit] Lesson Format
- Vocabulary.
- Introduce between ten and twenty words and affixes per lesson.
- Grammar.
- Introduce no more than three new topics of grammar. New grammar is also limited by the number of new affixes allowed.
- Klingon-English; English-Klingon
- Two sections of text for the student to translate. Each section should contain at least 15 sentences. A section will use each new word or affix at least twice, give at least two examples of any new grammar or constructions, plus a selection of previously taught grammar and words. Answers will be provided in two sub-articles.
- Culture
- A brief note about Klingon culture, in English.
[edit] Number of lessons
This will depend on how much grammar will be introduced per lesson. I want this to be a slow-paced course, with only a little new grammar each time. We seem to be up to thirty or so lessons (20 words x 30 lessons gives a maximum 600 words).
