MediaWiki has a feature called the tagline. What would be a good tagline for Wikiversity?

Endless repetition [edit]

A wiki tagline is going to be seen endlessly on page after page. It should be something that does not annoy and that people will come to associate in a positive way with the wiki.

Motto and slogan [edit]

A tagline can be a variant of a slogan or motto.

  • Wikiversity motto: open learning community
  • Wikiversity slogan: set learning free

Taglines from other wikis [edit]

Taglines from Wikibooks (A) and Wikipedia (B).

I suppose Wikipedia started the use of "from" in wiki taglines. The original version was just The free encyclopedia.

  • From Wikibooks, the open-content textbooks collection
  • From Wikinews, the free news source you can write!
  • From Mozilla Community - Bringing Mozilla Together (Mozilla wikia)
  • Novelas, the free library (Fiction wikia)

Possible Wikiversity taglines [edit]

I do not see the point of having the word "from" in a wiki's tagline.

  • Wikiversity, the open learning community
  • Wikiversity, we set learning free
  • Wikiversity, learning resources for all ages
  • Wikiversity, learning the wiki way
  • Wikiversity, libre learning

I also have doubts about including "wikiversity" in the tagline.
