Gratis versus Libre
The Wikipedia page for Gratis versus Libre explains how these two terms can be used to describe two types of "free" content. Will this prove to be useful terminology for making the distinction between "no-cost" and "free to copy/modify" content?
Can non-GFDL webpages include Wikipedia pages or do websites that include GFDL content have to clearly license their copies of the content as GFDL?
- answers.com seems to license their pages as GFDL if they include content from Wikipedia.
- About - still searching for Wikipedia content at about.com
- Yahoo - still searching for Wikipedia content at yahoo.com
If there are websites that use GFDL content without clearly licensing their copies of the content as GFDL, can GFDL content be used in frames of proprietary LMS pages? See: wikilearner
