(a) : The deadline for any report is in general on a Wed, unless extended by formal announcement (e.g., to accommodate the travel schedule of students, etc.), or upon a reasonable request.

(b) : Deadline for HW1 was extended from Wed, 20 Jan 10, to Wed, 27 Jan 10, to allow for newly formed teams to start working together. Deadline for HW2 extended from Wed, 3 Feb 10, to Wed, 10 Feb 10, due to additional lectures. Deadline for HW4 extended from Wed, 3 Mar 10, to Sun, 7 Mar 10, to accommodate some students having other mid-term exams and job-related deadlines; similarly for HW5, extended from Wed, 24 Mar 10 to Fri, 26 Mar 10. Deadline for HW7 extended from Wed, 21 Apr 2010, 5pm EDT, to Fri, 23 Apr 2010, 5pm EDT, due to students having exams.

(c) : 21:00 UTC = 17:00 EDT = 5:00 pm EDT = 4:00 pm EST. From the first Sunday of November, the Eastern time changed back to the EST, and we used 22:00 UTC = 5:00 pm EST.
